FC Barcelona started with two wins into the new season

Week two in the Spanish Division de Honor is already in the books. At the first weekend in March CB Sant Boi and the Tenerife Marlins Puerto Cruz each improved to 4-0 in the season thanks to sweeps in Gijon, respective Viladecans. CB out-scored El Llano 34-3 with Daniel Martinez scoring four times on Saturday and Jose Luis Riera matching this feat one day later. The Marlins celebrated wins by scores of 13-1 and 9-2.

The FC Barcelona was the third team on this game day with a sweep. With Delio Miguel Martinez and Oscar Angulo still on the bench they defeated Baseball Navarra in both ends of a two-game series. The matchups between CD Pamplona and Halcones de Vigo, as well as between San Inazio Bilbao and Astros Valencia ended with splits.
