Results Spanish Division de Honor June 8&9

Posted on June 12, 2013 by philipp

In the Spanish Division de Honor just two doubleheaders were played this weekend. El Llano lost twice to CBS Sant Boi and the Tenerife Marlins had to settle for a split against the Astros Valencia. Sant Boi’s Marc Carillo had eight RBI overall in two blowouts in Gijon. Miguel Angel Vargas walked nine in nine innings, but still managed to lead the Astros to a 4-1 win in game one in Puerto Cruz. Three runs in the eighth decided the outcome.

Meanwhile the ballpark in Burlada was flooded, causing severe damages to the turf and the postponement of the weekend matchup between Baseball Navarra and CB Viladecans.
