A couple of make-up games were on the schedule this weekend in the Spanish Division de Honor. The CB Barcelona swept San Inazio Bilbao in a two-game set in Montjuic. Ricardo Hernandez struck out nine in nine scoreless three-hit innings to lead Barcelona to a 4-0 win in game one on Saturday evening. Oscar Angulo scored twice. In the second matchup Pau Sancho highlighted a five-run third with a bases clearing triple in a 7-1 victory for CBB. Jorge Balboa picked up with a strong showing on the mound.
In the third game of the weekend in the Division de Honor Baseball Navarra hosted CB Viladecans in Bilbao on Saturday with Navarra prevailing 10-4. Victor Martinez collected three hits and two RBI. Montero, Alberto Espanol and Emmanuel Febles scored twice. Andres Casado allowed nine hits, four runs (3 ER) and two walks in seven innings. Kerson Trinidad took the loss.
