In the Spanish Division de Honor CBS Sant Boi and the Astros Valencia were able to make up ground towards leader Tenerife Marlins this past weekend. On Saturday the Marlins split against CB Barcelona. After a 12-0 blowout in game one, Barcelona rebounded for a 2-1 victory in the second match. Eric Paez out-pitched Carlos Miguel Sierra and Andres Perez. It was the first loss for Sierra this season. Meanwhile the Astros Valencia won twice against CB Viladecans and Sant Boi shut out CD Pamplona twice at home. Both now have a one-game deficit in the standings towards Tenerife.
