While the future of baseball at the FC Barcelona remains in doubt, the team swept a doubleheader against Halcones de Vigo on Saturday to solidify first place in the Spanish Division de Honor. They even extended their lead, as CB Sant Boi had to settle for a split against the Astros Valencia. Oscar Angulo led Barcelona in game one, going 4-or-5 with four RBI in a 7-2 win. Jorge Balbo struck out 14 in a complete game victory in a 2-1 game two.
