Results Spanish Division de Honor May 4&5

In the Spanish Division de Honor four matchups were scheduled for this weekend. CB Barcelona and the Tenerife Marlins prevailed on the road to remain at the top of the standings. The Marlins won 2-0 and 7-3 in Gijon against El Llano. Jesus Aaron Leon struck out 11 in a complete game shutout in game one. In the second game Richard Montiel had three RBI.

Barcelona won another duel against a local rival, defeating CB Viladecans twice 9-2 and 10-5. CBS Sant Boi crushed CD Pamplona 12-0 and 7-1 for an easy sweep. San Inazio Bilbao edged out the Astros Valencia 3-0 and 2-1. Jose Vidal Romero struck out 15 in eight scoreless two-hit innings in game one. A RBI double by Jose Morales and a RBI single by Rafael Llames were the crucial hits in the sixth inning of game two.
