Posted on June 1, 2015June 1, 2015 by philipp

In the Spanish Division de Honor the championship race remains close with the Tenerife Marlins and Astros Valencia sweeping their opponents to stay tied for first place. Third-ranked CBS Sant Boi won twice as well to keep their deficit to two games in the standings.

Tenerife used a pair of strong starts by Leslie Nacar and Carlos Miguel Sierra to down San Inazio Bilbao. Oscar Angulo had six hits for Valencia during their two wins against CB Barcelona. Sant Boi prevailed in a derby against CB Viladecans. In the fourth matchups Baseball Navarra and CD Pamplona shared wins.

Next weekend the Astros Valencia host the Tenerife Marlins for a doubleheader, which can decide the championship early.
