Leader CB Barcelona had to settle for a split against Baseball Navarra this weekend, losing game one 2-7 before winning a pitcher’s duel 1-0 in game two. Ely Izturriaga struck out 12 for Navarra to out-duel Ricardo Hernandez in game one. In the second match Jorge Balboa pitched a 13-strikeout, four-hit shutout to lead Barcelona to the victory.
