Last weekend a European youth tournament with four teams took place in Dortmund, organized by coaches of the European Baseball Coaches Association (EBCA) and the Baseball-Bundesliga club Dortmund Wanderers. The rainy fall weather led to a few schedule changes, but still allowed five games to be played. Although the results aren’t that important in the end the squad of the Flemish Academy won all three games and finished the two-day tourney undefeated. Also participating were Team Europe/St. Louis, the Academy from Rouen, France and a team formed by the Wanderers and the Saarlouis Hornets.

Results:
Europe/St. Louis – Team Flemish Academy 2-9
Dortmund Wanderers/Saarlouis Hornets – Team Academy Rouen 7-8
Team Flemish Academy – Dortmund Wanderers/Saarlouis Hornets 15-2
Team Academy Rouen – Team Europe/St. Louis 15-2
Team Flemish Academy – Team Academy Rouen 3-2
