Results Prague Baseball Week, Day One, June 23

Posted on June 24, 2009 by philipp

The Under-21 squad of the Czech Republic and the Austrian National Team started with wins into the Prague Baseball Week on Tuesday. In game one on field one the Czech Juniors shut out Sweden 3-0. According to the game report on the Swedish Federation Website, the Czech team had a 17-year-old hurler on the mound, who beat Oscar Carlstedt. On the central field Austria overcame an early 0-8 deficit against Croatia and won 13-9. The outcome of the third game on day one between the Czech Senior National Team and a team from Moscow is not known. A rainout after the bad weather in the area is certainly a possibility.
