On day two of the Prague Baseball Week on Wednesday Slovakia celebrated a pair of wins, improving to 2-1 in the tournament. In the first game they crushed Poland 19-2. Later in the afternoon they also edged out Austria 6-1. Earlier in the morning at the Tempo Titans ballpark in the south of Prague Austria had defeated Poland 12-4. At Prague-Krc meanwhile France suffered its third loss of the PBW, going down 3-5 against AIST (USA). Also the Czech 18U squad beat Lithuania 11-4 and UCLA Alumni (USA) won the American duel against USSSA (USA) by a score of 10-6. Seven more preliminary round games are set for Thursday. The playoffs start on Friday.
