The 2011 Prague Baseball Week started with seven games on Tuesday. Teams which played twice on opening day didn’t have the best outings. Lithuania lost to Austria 2-11 and to Poland 2-7 at the ballpark of Kotlarka Prague. At the Prague Eagles facilities in Prague-Krc, France lost 3-5 to UCLA Alumni and to the Czech Republic in the evening game by a score of 1-3. The Czech national team had won its first game of the day 7-5 in ten innings versus USSSA. The Americans were the lone two-game winner, having already beaten AIST 5-1 earlier. Also Slovakia beat the Czech 18U Team 5-4. The preliminary round continues through Wednesday and Thursday.
