Posted on September 10, 2008 by philipp

Only two games took place on Tuesday, September 9 in the Dutch Hoofdklasse. Derick Francisca and Jeffery Arends each had two RBIs in a rain-shortened five-inning DOOR NEPTUNUS 8-2 victory against MR COCKER HCAW. They decided the outcome through a seven-run fourth inning. Jurjen Van Zijl picked up the win after five solid innings, allowing two runs on seven hits and a walk. Lars SiaHaya gave up five hits, seven runs and five base on balls in 3 2/3 innings to take the loss.

In the other match SPARTA/FEYENOORD beat the MEDIA MONKS RCH 1-0. The match between ADO and the PIONIERS was postponed. They are probably will make this up on Friday, September 12. Tonight KONICA MINOLTA and CORENDON KINHEIM are going to complete its brawl-shortened game from May 18. The match is tied 5-5 in the sixth inning.
