Not much changed in the German Softball-Bundesliga on game day number five. In the northern division, the Wesseling Vermins moved into sole possession of first place with four wins this past weekend, while the Neunkirchen Nightmares improved to 7-1 with a sweep over the Brauweiler Raging Abbots. In the south the Mannheim Tornados shut out the Augsburg Dirty Slugs twice to defend their clean slate. The Haar Disciples follow in second place after a sweep in Heidelberg, also taking advantage from a surprise split by the Karlsruhe Cougars in Lauf.
