Results German Baseball-Bundesliga June 25

Posted on June 26, 2011 by philipp

While the German national team is playing at the World Port Tournament in Rotterdam, the German Baseball-Bundesliga continued on Saturday with a single doubleheader in the northern division. In a duel between the teams in seventh and eighth the Dohren Wild Farmers did a big step to separate itself from the Berlin Sluggers with two commanding wins. In game one the guests scored seven combined runs in the sixth and seventh en route to a 10-run-rule shortened 12-2 win. Jannis Wedemeyer (W) picked up his first win of the season, while Iwan Galkin (L) got charged with his sixth loss. In the second match Garrett Rogers (W) won the pitcher’s duel against Ales Keprta (L) and led the Wild Farmers to a 7-1 victory. With the sweep Dohren has a three-game lead over the Sluggers in the standings.
