In the German Baseball-Bundesliga the second to last game day was played last weekend. In the northern division the Hamburg Stealers clinched the fourth spot in the playoffs with a sweep against the Dortmund Wanderers. In the south the chances for the Stuttgart Reds have turned to be nearly impossible after losing twice to the Buchbinder Legionaere Regensburg, while the Mainz Athletics split against the Haar Disciples.
