In the German Baseball-Bundesliga the highly anticipated matchup between the Buchbinder Legionaere Regensburg and the Heidenheim Heidekoepfe was a lopsided affair. Regensburg won 15-5 on Friday and then erased an early 0-4 deficit in a 9-6 win on Saturday, improving to 8-0 for the season. In the north the Solingen Alligators swept the Cologne Cardinals to keep their clean slate. The Haar Disciples and the Stuttgart Reds celebrated two-win weekends as well. The twin bill between the Dortmund Wanderers and the Hannover Regents ended with a split. The Bonn Capitals were on one out away from the sweep against the Untouchables Paderborn. But after an 11-4 win in game one and leading 7-0 in the second match, rain caused a postponement with two outs in the bottom of the fifth.
