Solingen defeated the Cologne Cardinals 10-0 and 7-4. Chris Mezger had 15 strikeouts in 15 innings.

The Stuttgart Reds celebrated a sweep over the Tubingen Hawks. Thomas de Wolf had the win and four key RBI in game one, while Nick Renault belted a ninth-inning home run to pace the Reds in game two. The Heidenheim Heidekoepfe won twice against the Mannheim Tornados. Simon Guehring and James McOwen homered for Heidenheim. The Mainz Athletics and the Haar Disciples split two games. Joey Dyche hit a pair of home runs, including one in the tenth, to lead Haar to a 5-3 win on Saturday. Jan-Niclas Stoecklin had ten Ks in a 4-0 shutout of Mainz on Sunday.

In the northern division the Bonn Capitals got into the win column, overpowering the Untouchables Paderborn 12-3 and 18-10. Daniel Lamb-Hunt and Pau Sancho had four hits each for Bonn in game two. Chris Untereiner drove in four for Paderborn in the same match. In the third north matchup this week the Dohren Wild Farmers continued to impress. They split against the HSV Stealers. In game one Jannis Wedemeyer struck out 16 in a 3-2 Dohren victory. In game two Michael Couch dominated again, but when he left after the eighth Hamburg nearly blew a 6-0 lead in a 6-4 win.
