In the German Baseball-Bundesliga seven game days in the regular season are in the books. In the north the matchup between the Untouchables Paderborn and the Solingen Alligators got rained out. Paderborn then went on to defeat the Cologne Cardinals twice, including a comeback win in the second match. The Bonn Capitals swept the HSV Stealers erasing a 1-4 deficit in game two. The Dortmund Wanderers and the Dohren Wild Farmers shared wins.
In the south Lukas Steinlein and Joshua Petersen of the Haar Disciples set the highlights of the weekend. Steinlein pitched eight no-hit innings in an 11-0 shutout in game one against the Mannheim Tornados. In the same game Petersen hit for the cycle going 4-for-5 with three runs and three RBI. Mannheim won the second part of the twin bill thanks to three RBI of Mauro Schiavoni. The Buchbinder Legionaere Regensburg and the Stuttgart Reds split a two-game series. Thomas De Wolf hit a three-run home run in game one and drove in the game-winner in game two for Stuttgart. The Heidenheim Heidekoepfe and the Mainz Athletics each picked up two easy wins.
