The BUCHBINDER LEGIONAERE stayed undefeated in the German Baseball-Bundesliga. They defeated HAAR easily on Friday evening and Saturday afternoon to improve to 14-0. HEIDENHEIM remains three games back after out-slugging GAUTING in both games on Sunday. The most important matchup in the south took place in Mainz on Saturday, where the TORNADOS won twice, solidified third place and now have a three-game lead towards the fourth. In the north the STEALERS collected two important victories against the CAPITALS and closed the gap to third-ranked DORTMUND, which dropped both against the ALLIGATORS. In game one SOLINGEN had scored eleven runs in the fifth en route to a 20-5 pounding.
