Posted on May 22, 2011 by philipp

The Untouchables Paderborn remain undefeated in the German Baseball-Bundesliga. On Saturday the U’s crushed the HSV Stealers twice on the road to improve to 13-0. The Bonn Capitals followed with sweep over the Pulheim Gophers on Sunday. Paderborn and Bonn will meet next weekend. Also in the north the Solingen Alligators against the Dortmund Wanderers and the Dohren Wild Farmers versus the Berlin Sluggers had to settle for a split.

In the south the Buchbinder Legionaere Regensburg solidified first place with two wins over the Bad Homburg Hornets on Saturday. One day later the Heidenheim Heidekoepfe won in extra innings in game one and shut out the Mannheim Tornados in the second. Additionally the Mainz Athletics moved into sole possession of second place with two wins at the Gauting Indians. The A’s will open their new ballpark next weekend.
