Results German Baseball-Bundesliga May 21 to 24

Posted on May 24, 2009 by philipp

The race for the fourth playoff spot in the German Baseball-Bundesliga got interesting the past few days. After MAINZ already lost twice on Thursday against the TORNADOS, they also were winless on Sunday in HAAR. The DISCIPLES on the other side are back and right in the middle of the pack. GAUTING settled for a split against MANNHEIM and the teams on fourth to seventh are only separated by percentage points.

At the top of the standings, Eddie Aucoin led REGENSBURG to a 5-0 win against SAARLOUIS on Saturday with nine no-hit innings. He hit only two batters and faced the minimum, while striking out nine. The BUCHBINDER LEGIONAERE remain undefeated after 16 games.

In the north the two leaders SOLINGEN and PADERBORN had to settle for three wins each in four games this weekend. The STEALERS solidified fourth place with two wins in PULHEIM.
