Results French Elite League June 21

The two leaders in the French Elite League continued their winning ways. The ROUEN HUSKIES scored 22 runs in two shutouts over the ARVERNES CLERMONT-FERRAND. The MONTPELLIER BARRACUDAS completed the sweep against the LA GUERCHE HAWKS with an 11-9 victory in game two, after a 12-1 pounding in the first one. The SAVIGNY LIONS put 29 runs on the board in two wins against the MONTIGNY COUGARS. The TEMPLIERS SENART got back to .500 with strong pitching performances against STADE TOULOUSAIN. SAVIGNY, LA GUERCHE and SENART now are separated by two games in the standings, fighting for the last two spots in the playoffs. The HAWKS and the LIONS will meet, when the Elite League resumes play on July 5th.
