The French Elite League continued on Easter Sunday with two make up matchups. In Rouen the two finalists of the last two years faced each other in their season debuts, as both played in the European Cups in Italy at the beginning of April. The HUSKIES won both games to start their campaign for title number six. In Clermont-Ferrand, the SAVIGNY LIONS took both ends of the doubleheader, the second 2-1 in eleven innings.
