After the Montpellier Barracudas and the Templiers Senart celebrated sweeps on the road on Sunday in the French Elite League, the showdown between Rouen and Savigny one day later ended with a split. In game one the Lions celebrated a 3-1 victory. In the second match the Huskies fought back and prevailed 6-2 to remain at the top of the standings, although only by percentage points. Australian national teamer Paul Mildren made his debut for Savigny in game two and issued two hits, three runs and two bb in two innings of relief.
More on the six games will follow in the next couple of days
