The semi-finals in the French Division I started this weekend. Defending champion Rouen Huskies used a pair of strong pitching performances to a 2-0 start in their best-of-five series against the Savigny Lions. In game one on Saturday Rouen prevailed 10-0 and completed the weekend sweep with a 4-1 victory one day later. The series between the Templiers Senart and Paris UC seems to be more thrilling. In game one the Templiers edged out a 7-6 win. On Sunday PUC had the better ending with a 7-4 score.
