Results French Division I June 19, 2016

In the French Division I the two top teams met on Sunday, as the Senart Templiers hosted the Rouen Huskies. The matchup ended with a split.

Senart prevailed 4-1 in game one. The Templiers scored twice in the fifth and the eighth to down the Huskies. Maxwell MacNabb and Jimmy Jensen kept the Rouen offense to a run. Yoann Vaugelade suffered his first loss of the season.

In the second match the Huskies turned a 0-4 deficit into a 6-5 win. Four runs in the top of the ninth completed the comeback and denied the sweep. Randy Perez drove in the game-winner with a double. Owen Ozanich closed it out in relief of Marc Andre Habeck.

In the other matchups the Montpellier Barracudas swept the Clermont Arvernes 7-2 and 12-1. Paris UC beat the French Cubs Chartres 8-7 and 4-2. The Savigny Lions split 2-8 and 4-3 against Stade Toulousain.
