Results Division de Honor July 5/6

The 14th game day in the Spanish Division de Honor brought some interesting results. EL LLANO stunned CB SANT BOI and swept the two-game series. The team from Gijon shut out the Catalonians 2-0 in game one, allowing just two hits. In the second part of the twin bill SANT BOI overcame took a 7-6 lead in the top of the ninth through three runs, but blew the lead in the bottom of the frame and lost 7-8 after ten innings.

EL LLANO moved their record to 18-8, three games behind leader MARLINS, who won both games against the ATSTROS in Valencia. The FC BARCELONA defeated CB VILADECANS twice and moved into second place with a 17-5 record. They are only one game behind PUERTO CRUZ in the loss column.
