In the British National Baseball League three teams celebrated sweeps on Sunday to remain among the top in the standings. The London Mets dispatched the Croydon Pirates in both games of a twin bill. The Harlow Nationals solidified first with a pair of wins on the road over the Essex Arrows. The Herts Falcons crushed the Southampton Mustangs and dropped their opponents to fourth in the standings. The Bracknell Blazers and the Lakenheath Diamondbacks split a doubleheader.
