Parallel to the start of the 2012 Olympic Games in London, the British National Baseball League continued on Sunday with eight scheduled games. The Southampton Mustangs swept the London Mets in a doubleheader. Also the Bracknell Blazers earned two wins on the field over the Essex Arrows. Meanwhile the Harlow Nationals received two forfeit wins against the Lakenheath Diamondbacks.
