In the British National Baseball League the Southampton Mustangs and the Essex Arrows won on the road. The Mustangs downed the Brighton Jets 21-2 and 14-2. Essex prevailed 13-3 and 17-4 against the Herts Falcons. Meanwhile the London Mets won both games at home against the London Capitals.
