The Belgian Golden League Baseball opened the 2019 season with three games this past weekend. On Saturday the Borgerhout Squirrels defeated the Deurne Spartans. The Borgerhout Squirrels then also beat the Brasschaat Braves on Sunday. The Hoboken Pioneers meanwhile downed the Spartans.
