Results Belgian Final Round August 21&22

The final round in the Belgian first division resumed this weekend with six games. The Hoboken Pioneers crushed the Port of Antwerp Greys twice, out-scoring the record champion 24-3 in two games and sending them to a 0-4 start into this round. The surprising K. Deurne Spartans continued its surge with a 3-0 shutout on Saturday against the Brasschaat Braves. A day later the Braves got their first win with a 4-2 score. In the bottom-three round the Namur Angels and Mortsel Stars split their two-game set. On Saturday Namur overcame a six-run first by the Stars and beat them 11-7 before losing 6-8 one day later.

K. Deurne Spartans – Brasschaat Braves 3-0
Hoboken Pioneers – Port of Antwerp Greys 11-2
Sunday, August 22:
Brasschaat Braves – K. Deurne Spartans 4-2
Port of Antwerp Greys – Hoboken Pioneers 1-13
