Results Belgian First Division June 19&21

Posted on June 22, 2012 by philipp

In the Belgian First Division three games were scheduled for some mid-week action on the baseball fields. On Tuesday the Hoboken Pioneers defeated the Antwerp Eagles 12-1. Former minor leaguer Thomas De Wolf took the mound for the Pioneers. Both games on Thursday weren’t played. The second match between the Eagles and the Pioneers got canceled due to rain. The contest between the Namur Angels and Brasschaat Braves was forfeited by the Braves. Several coaches and players for Brasschaat are from the Netherlands and cannot make the trip to Namur on a weekday evening. Both teams couldn’t find a different date. A new game day is set for the weekend with the spotlight being on the duel between the Namur Angels and the Royal Greys.
