In the Belgian First Division the rematch of last year’s Belgium Series ended with a split. On Saturday the Borgerhout Squirrels defeated the Deurne Spartans 6-4. One day later the Spartans rebounded with a 5-3 win on their home field. Last fall Deurne had upset regular season winner Borgerhout to claim the title. In the other matchups the Brasschaat Braves defeated the Beveren Lions in both ends of the twin bill. The Royal Greys celebrated a pair of one-run victories over LLN Phoenix. The Mortsel Stars swept the Hoboken Pioneers.
