The NAMUR ANGELS dropped out of first place in the Belgian 1st Division after their losing streak got extended to four games by the MORTSEL STARS. But they trail the HOBOKEN PIONEERS only by a few percentage-points, as last year’s vice champion surprisingly had to settle for a split in their two-game series with eighth-ranked BRUSSELS KANGAROOS. The BRASSCHAAT BRAVES were the only team of the top four to win twice this weekend (against MERCHTEM CATS), as the PORT OF ANTWERP GREYS (currently in third) won one of two against the BORGERHOUT SQUIRRELS.
