Results Baseball League Austria April 21 & 22, 2017

The first game day in the Baseball League Austria is in the books. Three of the four matchups ended with sweeps. Only the duel between the Vienna Wanderers and the Wiener Neustadt Diving Ducks ended with a split. After Vienna had prevailed 5-1 on Friday, the Diving Ducks fought back for a 6-0 shutout on Saturday.

Additionally the Stock City Cubs beat the Traiskirchen Grasshoppers 14-9 and 5-4. The Hard Bulls celebrated 16-3 and 8-3 wins over the Feldkirch Cardinals. Defending champion Athletics Attnang-Puchheim defeated the Kufstein Vikings 8-4 and 12-1. The Vienna Metrostars and the Dornbirn Indians had a bye in week one.
