Results Austrian Baseball League June 21/22

Posted on June 22, 2008 by philipp

With the VIKINGS and the METROSTARS playing the European Cup Qualifiers, the Austrian Baseball League resumed their schedule with a pair of make-ups. With new pitcher Carter Clements aboard in addition to the usual solid work by Walter Strasser on the mound, the ATHLETICS swept their twin bill against the TIGERS. Both clubs are now tied in third place of the standings with 10-6 records, three games behind the leader UNION KUFSTEIN.

On Sunday the two teams at the bottom, the CUBS and the BANDITS each won one, which will not help either of them.

The ABL now will make a break in the schedule until July 19.
