Posted on July 11, 2010 by philipp

The SUPERFUND Wanderers returned to the winning lane in the Vienna derby against the Metrostars in the Austrian Baseball League. They beat the Mets 3-2 and 12-5 at the Spenadlwiese to stay at the top of the standings. Second-ranked Athletics Attnang-Puchheim out-scored the Stock City Cubs 39-4 in a sweep one week before their showdown with the Wanderers. The Union Kufstein Vikings also celebrated two wins to solidify third. The Schwaz Tigers and the Schwechat Blue Bats had to settle for the split in their duel for fourth.
