Results Austrian Baseball League April 23 & 24, 2016

In the Austrian Baseball League the Vienna Wanderers defeated the Stock City Cubs 5-0 and 2-1 to improve to 4-0 for the season. Christian Tomsich struck out 12 in a complete game five-hitter in game one to lead the pace. In game two the Wanderers scored the winning run in the bottom of the eighth to decide the outcome. Already on Saturday the Vienna Metrostars and the Diving Ducks Wiener Neustadt split a doubleheader. The matchup between the Dornbirn Indians and the Athletics Attnach-Puchheim got rained out.
