Austrian Baseball League

The Austrian Baseball League started into the 2016 season on Saturday. Defending champion Vienna Wanderers won 10-2 and 3-2 against the Dornbirn Indians. Samuel Hackl hit a home run in game one, while Hiro Sakanashi had five RBI. In game two Chikara Igami won the pitcher’s duel against Paul Astl and Christopher Squires. In the second matchup the Stock City Cubs beat the Diving Ducks Wiener Neustadt with 9-2 and 4-2.
