The renovation of the Armin-Wolf-Arena, the 2009 Baseball World Cup venue in Regensburg, is moving forward with big strides. Last week the local ice hockey club Eisloewen Regensburg (second division in Germany) helped to install the seats in the remodeled stands. The ballpark has to be game ready by next Friday, when the German champion BUCHBINDER LEGIONAERE hosts the MANNHEIM TORNADOS in their first home game of the season and we can get a first sneak preview how the ballpark will look in September (9th to 12th). Over 13.000 tickets for the six preliminary round games with Germany, Team USA, Venezuela and China are sold. Until April 30th you still get a 15 percent discount on all categories. Visit www.baseballwm09.de to purchase tickets online.
