Renny Duarte to pitch for Senago Milano United in 2013

Right-hander Renny Duarte is going to play for Senago Milano United in the Serie A of the Italian Federal Championship during the 2013 season according to GrandeSlam.net. The Venezuelan is no stranger in Milan, looking back at a full campaign in 2010 and a couple of appearances last year. He played mainly for Novara United in 2012, but Novara and Senago are no longer a franchise. For Novara he had a 1-8 record with an ERA of 4.52 in 12 games (8 starts) last summer. He struck out 38 in 61 2/3 innings, while walking 19. Besides playing for Senago Duarte also will serve as coach and is going to work with the youth team. Additionally he is the pitching coach of the Spanish National Team, which will participate in the 2013 World Baseball Classic. Spain is playing in Pool C in San Juan, Puerto Rico during the first round in March, facing Venezuela, Puerto Rico and the Dominican Republic.
