The Buchbinder Legionaere Regensburg have won the 2015 Buchbinder Cup at the Armin-Wolf-Arena in Regensburg. The current leader of the southern division in the German Baseball-Bundesliga erased a 7-9 deficit in the bottom of the tenth inning of a 10-9 nail-biter over the Bonn Capitals in the final on Monday. Johannes Jung drove in the game winner with a walk-off single in the tenth. Bonn had overcome a 0-6 deficit in the game, but couldn’t hold on to the lead.

Regensburg picked up the tournament trophy and prize money of €1,500. They remained undefeated in the double-elimination formatted event, defeating the Arrows Ostrava 11-1 and Bonn 12-5 on route to the final. Bonn, which opened the tourney with an 8-2 win over the Untouchables Paderborn, reached the finals via a 12-3 rout over Ostrava on Monday morning.
