We already recapped the two decisive games for the championship in the Spanish Division de Honor, as CB Sant Boi won the title thanks to their sweep in the season series against the FC Barcelona. But there were two more doubleheaders in Spanish Baseball this weekend.
El Llano – CB Viladecans 3-12, 0-10 (7)

CB Viladecans concluded the season in the Division de Honor with a sweep over El Llano in Gijon. On Saturday they put nine runs on the board in the first four frames en route to a 12-3 win. Felix Cano Jr. went 3-for-5 with four RBI. Camilo Gonzalez, Miguel Catalan and Eric Segura each scored three times. Fabian Marquez (W 4-9) allowed three hits, three runs and five bb in six-plus innings, striking out eight. Yasiel Pino (L 0-2) issued twelve hits, twelve runs (6 ER) and two walks in nine innings.

Viladecans again had a fast start on Sunday, as they scored all ten runs of a 10-0 shutout in the first three innings. Denny Nino highlighted the early six-run rally with a two-run double. Two frames later Fabian Marquez drove in two with a single in a four-run third. Ferran Dominguez and Marc Jodar (W 3-2) combined to allow just five hits in seven scoreless innings, while striking out seven. Juan Garcia (L 0-3) surrendered 15 hits, ten runs (9 ER) and three bb in seven innings.
San Inazio Bilbao – Tenerife Marlins Puerto Cruz 1-2, 3-5

The Tenerife Marlins won both ends of a doubleheader in Bilbao on Sunday. In game one Puerto Cruz broke a 1-1 tie in the top of the eighth, when Richard Montiel scored on an error by San Inazio’s left fielder Edward Adames. Montiel already had scored the first run for his team in the top of the sixth on a RBI single by Victor Lopez. Bilbao led since a RBI single by Tony Granadillo in the third. Leslie Nacar (MPC) gave up six hits and a run in six innings, striking out eight. Antonio Noguerra (W) closed it out witch three scoreless frames of relief. Fidel Torres Mane (L 8-8) finished the season at the .500 mark after conceding seven hits, two runs (1 ER) and two bb in nine innings.

In the second game Tenerife out-hit San Inazio 17-7, but still needed RBI singles by Jacobo Garrido and Franklin Tavarez in the seventh and eighth to win 5-3. Both teams had scored three runs in the first three frames. Ivan Granados (MPC) issued five hits, three runs and two bb in five innings. Cristian Remedios (W 1-0) received the win after four innings of two-hit relief. Alberto Magallon (L 6-9) gave up only five runs (4 ER) on 16 hits in 7 1/3 innings. Puerto Cruz left twelve men on base in the game.
