T&A San Marino opened another week in the Italian Baseball League with a 12-1 rout of Telemarket Rimini in the Thursday night game. Seven runs in the fourth blew things wide open. Giovanni Pantaleoni highlighted the big rally with a grand slam. Carlos Duran homered and drove in four as well. Jairo Ramos was a perfect 4-for-4 with two runs and three RBI at the plate. Mario Chiarini went deep for Rimini, tying the game briefly in the fourth. Henry Bonilla (W) issued just three hits, a run and a walk in seven strong innings. Dushan Ruzic (L) was charged with 13 hits, twelve runs (7 ER) and a base on balls in 5 2/3 innings.
