The Vaessen Pioniers defeated Corendon Kinheim 6-4 on Thursday afternoon. Michael Duursma and Nik Gumeson combined for four RBI. Jefferson Muzo scored twice. Dirk van’t Klooster drove in two for Kinheim. Conrad Orman (W) issued six hits, four runs (1 ER) and six walks in five innings. David Bergman (L) surrendered six hits, six runs (3 ER) and a walk in eight innings.

UVV took a 5-3 win away from Mr. Cocker HCAW in the Dutch Hoofdklasse. Three runs in the top of the eighth sealed the deal. Jeff Delfina crossed the plate twice. Fausto Alvarez and Rutger Veugelers had two hits apiece. Timo van Ancum (W) allowed just an unearned run on two hits and a walk in five innings for the win. Dennis Burgersdijk (L) was charged with four hits, two runs and three bb in 2 2/3 frames.

Sparta/Feyenoord Rotterdam scored five runs in the fourth and six in the eighth en route to a 15-3 win in eight innings over ADO. Emeron Lourens and Jourick Blanco did most of the damage, combining for five hits, four runs and six RBI. Ruderly Manuel (W) conceded seven hits, a run and four walks in seven innings. Jurandy Girigori (L) gave up five hits, seven runs (2 ER) and seven bb in 3 1/3 frames.
