T&A San Marino – Telemarket Rimini 10-3

T&A San Marino solidified first place in the Italian Baseball League with a 10-3 win over Telemarket Rimini on Friday. Joe Mazzuca hit a homerun. He and Carlos Duran combined for six RBI. Marco Yepez had three hits and two runs for the Titans. Chris Cooper pitched six innings for the win. Roberto Corradini issued seven runs on seven hits in 1 2/3 innings to take the loss.

Cariparma Parma – De Angelis Godo Knights 1-11 (7)

The De Angelis Godo Knights crushed Cariparma Parma 11-1 in seven innings on Friday. Five players scored twice. Federico Rubboli drove in four. Stefano Desimoni scored the lone Parma run. Daniele Del Bianco allowed one run on two hits in six innings. Andrea Pizziconi was charged with the loss.

Danesi Nettuno – Montpaschi Grosseto 1-0

Danesi Nettuno won a pitcher’s duel against Montepaschi Grosseto behind a gem of Ricardo Hernandez. It was their second straight shutout for Nettuno in the series.

Unipol Bologna – Novara United postponed

The contest between Unipol Bologna and Novara United was rained out on Friday and will be made up on the weekend.
