Halcones de Vigo – Baseball Navarra 0-2, 2-3
Juan Jose Lopez (W 7-7) allowed just seven hits and five walks in a complete game shutout to lead NAVARRA to a 2-0 win in game one in VIGO. He struck out ten. Larry Infante and Hector Perozo scored the lone runs in the opening and closing period. Roman Carrasco (L 1-4) conceded seven hits, a run and a bb in six innings.
In the second match, the guests used a three-run eighth en route to a 3-2 win and the sweep. HALCONES cut the deficit to a run in the bottom of the ninth with a two-run homerun by Carlos Millan, but two groundouts later they lost anyway. Diego Armando Perez (W 6-4) issued four hits, two runs and four bb in five innings of relief. Alberto Espanol threw four scoreless innings at the beginning of the game. Juan Jose Lopez (L 4-7) surrendered seven hits, three runs (2 ER) and four walks in eight innings.
CD Pamplona – CB Viladecans 6-19 (7), 0-6
VILADECANS used offense in game one and pitching in game two to win both ends of a twin bill in PAMPLONA. In the first match, they scored six runs in the third and eight in the fourth en route to an easy 19-6 pounding. Miguel Catalan went four-for-five with two doubles, two runs scored and four RBI. Oscar Angulo and Edgar Hernandez each scored three times. Delio Miguel Martinez (W 8-5) allowed five hits, five runs and three bb in five innings. Patrice Briones (L 2-3) conceded nine hits, eight runs and two walks in three innings.
In the second part of the doubleheader, Pol Llopis (W 3-6) gave up just four hits and a walk in eight scoreless innings to lead CB to a 6-0 shutout. Battery mate Hernandez drove in two. Juan Redin (L 1-5) issued eight hits, four runs and a walk in 5 1/3 innings.

With the make-up games she season in the Spanish Division de Honor ended last weekend. The TENERIFE MARLINS defended their championship. Due to federation rulings, the FC BARCELONA finished in third place, despite having the superior record over CB SANT BOI. A little bit further down the ranking, CB VILADECANS finished in sixth in front of EL LLANO, also due to a ruling by the Spanish federation.
