The Angels got on the board first on a delayed steal when Adrien Geuquet dashed home on the throw down to second. The Angels then extended their lead when Nick Gentili got an RBI single that scored Harry Clark. The Stars came right back with two runs in the fourth off of Angels starter Nicolas Migeot. Down one in the sixth, the Angels tied it up on a two RBI double by catcher Harry Clark. The Stars struck for three runs in the eighth. There was no quit in the Angels today as they came back with four runs in the eighth to make the score eight to six. Stephane Daspremont came in and shut the door in the bottom of the ninth to give the Angels and himself the victory.

The Angels got out to another early lead with two runs in the first three frames. The Stars came back with four runs in the fourth inning. That would be all the Stars would get in game two as starter Aaron Brandt went eight strong and struck out eight Stars. The Angels would come back to tie the game in the seventh on an RBI single from Nick Gentili. The game would remain tied until the bottom of the ninth when pinch hitter Nicolas Migeot raced home on a wild pitch. Nick Gentili earned the win after breezing through a scoreless ninth inning.

Willie Rosario had a great day at the plate reaching base eight out of the nine times on the day. Michel Legrand led the way in Game two hitting a double and scoring two runs.

The Namur Angels improved to eight and eight on the year and will go on the road to take on the Spartans next week.
